Aceclidine is a synthetic analogue of Arecoline, a natural cholinomimetic alkaloid. Aceclidine acts as an agonist at cholinergic receptors and has therapeutic use to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma. A parasympathomimetic drug with weak anticholinesterase activity.
